On the writing front: I am working on a script for an opening few days of a game idea I had...It's basically giving Queer Retreat+Dating Sim+Story Driven game. The small town is a refuge from a society that is increasingly becoming hostile to the LGBT+ community.
You have the option of playing as several jobs: Homesteader, Builder, Sage, Doctor.
Each will influence your starting home, how you approach the main story, and when you meet particular characters.
I only plan to have the playable character as a canonically gay man; however the supporting cast is going to be very diverse. As I envision the town to be a very mixed group of refugees.
Also, I wanted to include the idea of visiting at least two other retreats (the reason for a larger cast) also it would give the Builder a reasonably lengthy gameplay loop.
As the Homesteader, you get your seeds primarily from the World Womb Revelers (Primarily Lesbians, Bisexual Women, and Trans-Fem characters who the World Womb recognizes as women). As part of your role is growing food and creating artisan goods for the Refuge.
This idea is giving: You're trying to do too much. But, pop off sir!
I'll see if I can get a good script going.
