FinjaminPoachTo keep different farms unique, I’m aiming to pick a different spouse each save and make each farm cater to my spouse’s taste in gifts. SodorArt did a video on this concept [YouTube], and at the moment I’m doing a Harvey Farm, which to me means:
- Start with Prairie (Meadowlands)
- Definitely Keep Pigs and Goats and Ducks
- A greenhouse producing coffee and the ingredients of Super Meal all-year-round - Artichokes, Cranberries and Bok Choi
I can’t really tell if starting with the chicken coop gives a head start (logically it should do, right?) but I’m ready to finish the community centre as soon as i get the last 2 winter forageables, and I’m only on Autumn 21st.
Harvey likes various mushrooms and forageables so I’ve turned the Northern island in my farm into an oak resin/chanterelle farm, and I’ll be turning the quarry into a Pine/Morel farm. I have a small maple farm near the train station.
I am so looking forward to making a Sandy and Clint farm next update. Which reminds me, what do ya’ll think the next farm type will be?? Maybe a desert farm so that Sandy will feel more at home?

Started a new playthrough in the forest farm, just caught the Legend in Spring year 1 (only had to reset the day once to catch it), and Robin should be done with my fish pond for my current in game day. I’m going for no-joja perfection in under two years.
