Yep, PVE like with Destiny, I would have been perfectly fine with. But this setup puts me off to no end and reading how people are just getting slaughtered run after run and lose everything. No thank you.

That doesn't sound like fun at all. Just frustrating to no end.

@outofprintarchive @COMPU73E @chris once you get in to the groove, losing your equipment means nothing. The goal isn't the best gear, but levelling up the factions. Once you play it more like a rouge-like first, all those issues go away. I'm hooked (but I was a D2 Crucible addict).

@outofprintarchive @chris Marathon has mandatory server wipes every "season" where you're reset back to zero, too. so that sounds like fun (not)

apart from the PvP, that's my biggest problem with Extraction Shooters. they have no endgame whatsoever apart from "reset and do it all again!"

@COMPU73E @outofprintarchive @chris Isn't that also how it works for Diablo PvP seasons? I think it was something like that with a CRPG, if it wasn't the Diablo games

@outofprintarchive @COMPU73E @chris ironically the most fun part of the game. It makes successful exfils that much more fulfilling.
