adult cat crimes are concentrated in the butt
This is part of the reason we've always adopted adults (though often young adults, 12 months or more) rather than kittens. The phase before the cat learns common (cat) sense is just too exhausting.
@fraggle that's why they're illegally smol. They have to outgrow their crimes. They're still adorably cute, but there's more cuteness than just their looks.

That's also 2/3 of my friends group.
