I was pleasantly surprised the EV and Hybrid deduction was still available in the USA for 2025.
Wait until you find out what happens to totalled EVs (they get sold for barely anything and shipped to eastern europe to be repaired). The ultimate Reduce Reuse Recycle scheme
People who commute by bike or electric trains:
People with badass tree forts:

Most people who drive ICE cars can’t afford fancy hybrids or EVs.

Real classy looking down on them, but I guess the image fits.

I live in an apartment building. Kinda hard to have an EV with no way to charge it. Would definitely like one though.
The ones I see around my complex just have like a communal charger from a local business lol, it’s doable if people can come together and agree on something like that

People? Come together?? In community???

Not in MY capitalism

Oh I’m sure they’re paying something for that, but it’s only a handful of cars so not that hard of a task
When I lived in an apartment I used the standard 120V outlet to charge overnight, at some point I did add ~$40 to my rent to get a garage space and used that 120V outlet instead.
This is just one anecdote but when I was car shopping in 2022 in the US, my (non plugin) hybrid CRV cost $1000 more than the ICE version. Not really a lot more.
Last year I sold a used ICE car and bought a used Chevy Bolt for less money. It’s been great.
Also homeowners looking at people.
And anyone with a badass tree fort
Wait untill you go shopping :)
Naw, that shit will affect every crevice of the economy. I’ve already had to increase certain areas of my budget three times within the last several months because inflation has gone up an insane amount in a short time. The only saving grace is that where I live winter is almost over.
I have an EV. Yay my fuel price isn’t changing. But only for my car. Everything else is shipped using mostly gas. So that all goes up. Buy local. Thankfully the last year has increased local production of many necessary items. Continue avoiding buying anything American since Trump continues to make life more difficult for everyone in the world.
I only buy Ukrainian-made electronics, clothing and alcohol.
Off-topic: is the dude in the picture the same actor like ‘The Baron’ from ‘What we do in the Shadows’?
