I think I've found the issue. And I’m working on a fix now.
The home timeline loading issue has been mitigated. It might still be slow on the first load, but it should load finally most of the time now. And following reloads will be faster
If you’re running a #GoToSocial snapshot with PostgreSQL as database, please consider hold off on updating to commit 0415d71a. Home and local timelines might get super slow or just timeout.
If you’ve already updated and are seeing issues, you can check Issue #4757 and #4758, and keep an eye out for the upcoming fix.
No need to worry if you’re on the stable version, it’s not affected for now.
