Today's session was short (busy day ahead), and the change is not very impressive, but it's an important small step towards developing a client and server that work together. That change will be psychologically huge. It's one of the big milestones in my head for when Obnam will actually be usable for backups at least in simple cases. The other one is storing sets of files (a "snapshot" of live, precious data), and not just individual chunks of data.
