I am having an absolute blast letting claude code ssh into Mac OS X Tiger to build Mac apps. For a subway time tracker, I'm using my Mac mini as a local proxy server, used the existing GTFS python library to pipe it into XML, and just used NSXMLParser in the client app.

The hardest part is having to brush off my photoshop icon pixel fitting skills — it's drawing the toolbar icons rn, bless its heart

@samhenrigold I do have a machine at my parents’ house on System 7. Maybe I jump even further back in time. (I can’t even imagine the network connection hurdles I’d have to jump through.)
