What's your favorite way to keep your #coffee warm?

I'm just warming it on a stove, though the downside with that is that it's better to use your worst cups as the bottom up the cup gets brown. Also there's a risk of burning the coffee, but I'm trying to mitigate by stirring with a spoon.

@anzah I brew mine and then pour it all into a thermos so that I can sip it hot the rest of the day (not drinking from the thermos; just using it as a storage container). Also it allows me to clean my coffee maker immediately and it's a nice way to keep the coffee as out of contact with plastic as I possibly can.

@arisummerland sounds bit like normal people would do. In my case I would probably need to warm up the thermos a bit as the coffee is not exactly steaming when it leaves the Aeropress.

Also need to buy separate thermos for coffee. I might use my current one for tea.

@anzah

Yes, that's advisable! You definitely don't want a tea thermos tasting like coffee.

That's actually a good idea to pre-warm the thermos, the way you would a porcelain teapot, though with porcelain it's just to prevent the shock. You could always use the warm water to do dishes or save it for plants.

And you're right, coffee is a little cooler when it comes out of the aeropress. I only do the thermos thing when I use my coffeemaker to make a whole pot.

I've tried out various little mug heaters and what-have-you, but I've never really been satisfied with any of them, especially the USB kind.
