Pretty sure that’d melt the silicone.

I left one of my packers in my closet just a little too close to the ceiling light and it melted.

I doubt it was silicone in that case. The melting point for silicone is like 1000 F.

this is true but i don’t think there are many brands of… this particular device, which are pure silicone. they’re out there, but they’re the minority

I was referring to their packer. Some are silicone, some are a blend, some are made of other things.
