'Excursion' always remembers me of the #RBMK1000 in #Chernobyl. When the graphite in the fuel rods caused an #excursion aka the core exploded.

(The HBO mini series is amazing. Highly recommended!)

Aren't excursions what rich people go on while on vacation? That's the only time I've ever heard it used, when the tourists are on one and I'm the broke person serving them.
