When you contact #Revolut support via in-app messaging, you get through to an LLM chatbot identifying itself as "Chat assistant." If you say "human," it transfers you to what I'm 95% sure is *another* LLM chatbot with a randomly-chosen name and a pre-prompt instruction to insist it is a "live agent" by that name.

Gross.

The "call" option gets you through to a "voice assistant," but at least that one transfers you to an actual living breathing person.

Rethinking my accounts.

Make that 100% sure: I've just realised that, even when pressed on the issue or asked to transfer to an actual person, the second chatbot never actually says it's human.

"You're speaking with a live agent at the moment."

"You are indeed connected with a live agent."

"You're already being assisted by a live agent."

"Live agent," never "human" or "person." So, it's not a *lie*: it is a software agent providing live responses. A live agent.

Like I said: gross.

@ghalfacree

You are now connected to a dead agent
