A week(?) In on the fedora thing and no yeah everything is going well except my wifi is strangely performing worse. I know I had a weak connection before (separate building moment) but it seems windows was able to handle it better than Linux? Any tips?
I've tried using a USB wifi dongle to see if it was the card but no dice.

Edit for clarity: using my (limited) Hotspot provides no issues. Everything works fine with it. I also can't run ethernet to the router because it's in a separate building.

@edensgarden what is your wifi card? broadcom and sometimes realtek perform a lot worse and are buggy due to uncooperative upstream and as a result bad drivers

if it is intel I'd be concerned tho, they're the most reliable from my experience

@edensgarden if you have a spare WiFi router you could put openwrt on you could get a wired connection and put the router in a spot with stronger signal. I have a wireless bridge set up in my office so I can bring a bunch of wired devices onto my lan. Running an Ethernet cable for me requires more holes than I want to patch
