got a DS Lite from Japan in pretty good condition, gave it USB-C charging with a cheap board from AliExpress. pretty fun soldering project :D

although yours looks cleaner, how come there are no gaps? usb c is thinner than the ds lite's charger port

there is a gap but its not really that noticeable. you actually see the edge of the board if you look through it
