Ghosts for #SpookySaturday

#Corvey #SchlossCorvey #CorveyPalace #HΓΆxter

The gibberish is inspired by the SiobhΓ‘n Donaghy song "Ghosts" (https://youtu.be/o5PMDae1tmM). I loved her album when it came out in 2007 (so 5 years ago πŸ₯²) and I still do
Ooh! Ooh! I have a ghost picture!!!
This is one of the hardest hashtags for me. I'm a bit of a scaredy cat, so I have very few spooky photos and no ghost stories to tell, let alone both combined as in your post! 🫣
Haha I'd never guess that. Your spooky shots are SO spooky! So what about scary movies? Is that a pass, too?
Yeah, nope, not my cup of tea. πŸ˜… I don't mind a bit of gore, but horror, be it bloody or, worse, psychological, is a big no from me. I don't watch much TV or many movies anyway, I'm more into documentaries or (animated) comedy shows while reading on the side (team three screens πŸ₯΄)
Oh man! So much to unpack here. Gore yes, horror no? Like huh? Animated comedy? Are you just "watching" what your kid has on? πŸ€” Or are we talking Bojack Horseeman, Love Death & Robots, Rick and Morty, Archer (I fucking love Archer)? And 3-screening?! You're a mega-multi-tasker, my friend. Teach me your ways.
Haha, we're talking Rick & Morty, Seth MacFarlane stuff, Futurama, South Park. πŸ˜‰ We're on our second attempt to get into BoJack Horseman, after friends insisted it's the show for us, but we're halfway through the first season and it just doesn't get funny. 😩 I know, I know, sacrilege.
And what I meant by gore was that I don't mind Kill Bill amounts of blood, as long as there aren't any horror elements. πŸ‘Ά It's just that my evening brain can't handle 50+ minutes of drama and suspense so I need something light to rewind. Or nothing at all while I read and do Pixelfed. πŸ˜…
Okay, okay... I feel you. Good choices all. Bojack Horseman isn't high on my list, either. It's so funny how horror really affects some people. I totally understand not wanting to get your heart racing when you're trying to unwind. I guess most horror just isn't scary to me. I like to watch it for the ideas and how they're executed (hehe). We have an annual Horror Movie Marathon at our house in October and so, yeah, it's just comfort watching at this point. 🀣
I have friends like that too, but my threshold for "horror" is about as high as Wednesday. It's not that I was biting my nails or jumping at every sound, but anything more graphic than that is probably not for me πŸ˜
