loStronzoRocco@statsguy Yes, but his base is so out of touch with reality that they’ll continue to make excuses for the current shit show we’re all being forced to live in. Pretty sad that hate, bigotry, and xenophobia are so endemic in half of the U.S. population that the orange assclown was again elected. Just think if those people didn’t fall for the ruse of “illegal immgrants” are “stealing your jobs” or “government handouts” are exploited by “the poor”. I hate these people with unchecked passion.
@desantis True, certainly for the majority of his base. But I'm hoping there are at least a few of them who might start questioning their choices when Trump's crazy behaviour starts to really hit them in their wallet.
@statsguy I mean I definitely want to agree. It’s hard for me though, because having lived in Florida for so many years and seeing the trailer parks with “No Trespassing” signs with confederate flags, that hate is pretty damn strong.
@desantis Yeah, there's a sizeable chunk of his base (the majority, I guess) who will continue to support him no matter what.
