Fede got attacked by a neighbor's dogs this morning while Brandon was walking him. Both of them got perforated wounds. Fede got checked out by an emergency vet and Brandon went to urgent care. They both got their wounds cleaned (they're not too bad, Fee's are worse because he has a lot of scratches) and were sent home with antibiotics.

This sucks and we're pissed at the neighbor for not controlling his dogs better. We talked to him and he said "Oh yeah sometimes they attack" and WTF dude

Thanks for the kind messages. Brandon and Fede are doing well. Fede has to wear a cone, but Brandon does not
@motoridersd Very glad to read that they’re both okay!
@motoridersd Glad everyone's okay!
@motoridersd So sorry this happened. Your neighbour is a danger with that shitty attitude. Glad they are both going to be OK at least.
@motoridersd I'm sorry this happened to those you love bro. And fuck that neighbour, sounds like they don't deserve a pet
@motoridersd My mind went places with the fact that Brandon does not HAVE to wear a cone….
@motoridersd I always worry about eye damage with pugs. Happy both are going to be fine.
@motoridersd obviously we need to put down your neighbor and rehome the dogs.
@motoridersd Some people really fucking suck.
@motoridersd That’s so scary! I’m hoping for a quick recovery for them :-/
@motoridersd hope they’re both doing ok, sounds like your neighbour is an idiot
@motoridersd Dog bites are a legal liability covered under homeowners insurance in California. Maybe having a claim against his insurance will make him think more than “That happens sometimes.”

@jhill @motoridersd
I second this idea, don't let it slide without the neighbor having consequences. Not certain, but I think you may be able to report it to your own homeowner's carrier and they will pursue the neighbor's carrier for reimbursement.

Hugs to you, Brandon, and the pups

@motoridersd jfc I'm glad everyone is relatively okay but that's awful!

@motoridersd oh hell fucking no you need to call animal control.

I hate to say that but this is no fucking way acceptable.

@robdaemon @motoridersd I kinda agree—or send them the vet/urgent care bills
@robdaemon @motoridersd

Glad that they seem to both be alright!

That attitude (from the neighbor) is absolutely, 100% unacceptable. We have two pitbull-type dogs and know that if god-forbid either of them were to bite anyone, it's likely a death sentence for them. So, well over half their training is about redirection, being gentle, and not reacting to other dogs/animals/people because they don't get the luxury of benefit of the doubt.

Dog owners that don't take aggression as a serious issue and manage it really piss me off. They're the reason breed-specific legislation gets pushed.
@motoridersd WTF? That's awful, so sorry to hear that and I hope your boys are ok.
@motoridersd fuuuck man, I hope they both heal up well
@motoridersd What the actual fuck? “Sometimes they attack?” That’s not okay bro.
@motoridersd 😡😡 That is unbelievable! I am very relieved that the pugs are going to recover. Your neighbor needs to be reported to an authority. This is entirely inappropriate. 😡😡
@motoridersd Oh yeah, sometimes the neighbor get to pay for your medical bills too. What a jerk! My best for a quick recovery to Fede and Brandon.
@motoridersd sorry to read this. I hope everyone is ok.
@motoridersd
Yikes! I'm so glad they both came out relatively okay, but that must have been so scary! I hope the recovery is fast and easy 🫂
@motoridersd OMG. I’m glad that your pups will be okay, but this is really inexcusable. One of the personal injury law firms here runs an ad sometimes about dog bites/ aggressive dogs. I’m kind of thinking that a well-worded letter from an attorney might move your neighbor to be more proactive about keeping his dogs in check?
@motoridersd Oh my God, Jorge, I am so sad to hear this. I hope both your guys recover very quickly.
