You were so right. I gave Claude a try and told it to add a countdown alarm with popup to my old music player. Then I said to add diagonal moving bands of colour, just to see if I could provoke it.

Nope. It just did it. Didn't fake the piss out of me, or advise me to cut down on the mushrooms.

How much do I have to pay to get something that has the guts to call me an eejit? Disappointed...

It did compile and run, though. Those LLMs must have ingested countless millions of lines of code to build my folly.
