There are multiple stories in the tech press about how much Amazon mandating the usage of its homegrown AI coding agent, Kiro (which doesn’t work) instead of Claude Code (which does) has led to chaos internally.

And it works pretty well.

Ehh.. Mandating is a strong word. No one has told me I can't use something else. These stories are overblown tbh.
