@rek NOICE!!👀✨💯

Those look awesome! 🤩 I've really been enjoying getting into canning - I'm pickling some green beans today, actually!😁🫛

Never tried those glass reusable lids, tho - how do you like them? Are they pretty durable/affordable/easy to use & clean? 🤔

@GoodNewsGreyShoes ive been fermenting for a while, but its my first time using that kind of jar(Weck jars). They werent available where i live until this year ^^ . I was excited to use them tho because the clips are stainless steel, and wont rust. Glass is always good, but they're not the cheapest(at least, here in Canada). Easy to clean and use, yes.

Before that, I used glass spring-top jars with steel closures, they were great for a while, but after 3 years the metal was completely corroded and gross :/....

I'll let you know what I think after the fermentation period is done ^^...(in 3 weeks or so)

@GoodNewsGreyShoes Tho really ill have to use them for a few years to know for sure if theyre great ^^
edit: I document information fairly thoroughly here:

@rek I just clocked why my parents would call this "Einwecken" (to "Weck" something in).

Although the jars were never "Weck" brand and the patent Weck bought in 1895 must've expired long ago.
