UBI indirectly solves income inequality. If no one needs to work just to survive, it becomes very difficult to exploit workers (which is the only way to build obscene wealth).

I worry about govt’s misusing it. I’m still a big UBI fan, but after seeing it employed in the Captain Laserhawk, it made me aware of how it can be a cudgel of a corrupt govt as well.
