Trying Optimism@samhenrigold another tip I have had success with is to invert the top of a water bottle so they have a narrow exit and have difficulty getting out.
Frank Hauschild@samhenrigold It also helps to add some sugar and a bit of dish soap. The dish soap is particularly important for breaking the surface tension and drowning the gnats.
