I did a boudoir shoot some months ago. I had been toying with the idea for a while, and I'm very glad that I finally did it.

I was a bit nervous going into this that my bottom dysphoria would be difficult to navigate, but the photographer I worked with was able to come up with just the right posing to hide what I wanted. And she had never worked with a trans person before!

Ultimately this was a really nice gender-affirming experience, and I'm absolutely going to go do another shoot with her after bottom surgery ā€‹ā€‹

@pixiesnoot I did a photo session the week before a variety of gender affirming surgeries, and it was a really powerful experience of feeling like I loved my body the most Iā€™d ever love her, right before making wonderful changes that feel incredible and which help me love her even more than ever before. It captured an extremely important experience of self-love both as a state of being and as a journey.
