*GenAI (Blech!)*

My rhymes are quite often silly,
With some metaphors none too frilly.
Even when sent out tranquilly
Their reception may well be chilly.

But here is my major thrust.
I don't want to write sloppy cruft.
No AI in my writing (for trust)
Not that I'm saying you must.

But if you do want me to read
Your poems, your stories or screed,
Be one of the wide human breed,
If you hope that your writing I'll heed.
