It blows my mind that (Danish) municipalities are allowed to subsidise housing for cars* at any cost, but not housing for people. *: Also known as parking.

A propos the above, the largest Danish newspaper Politiken is today reporting on where homeless people in Copenhagen find shelter for the night, one example being this. 😔

Not sure if it's underground. If it is, then they are quite often built to double as wartime shelter.
Here again the Finnish people are doing a better job as bunkers below Helsinki doubles as public facilities.
