We should call for @kde to reject the upcoming Kwin HDR patches here on the basis of being mostly AI-generated.

The submitter of these changes explained in a blogpost that they had Claude write most of the code for them.

I really want to say that the production of this code probably used more energy than KDE Eco projects saved.

Unfortunately, I don't have data on that.

I would also really like a policy in regards to generative AI be added here.

Though, for that to happen I'll probably have to start a discussion somewhere else.

@alexia it's hard to say because the world-destroying energy footprint is mostly from creating and training the model vs. querying. But the queries wouldn't be possible without the model.
