Spots someone offering guided tours of a building that's never open to the public.

Before writing an article saying "OMG - this building is offering tours", I naturally check out the tour to make sure it's good.

Buys tickets, gets email from the organiser confirming details.

Travels to the other side of London - but no tour guide.

Goes into the building, they're baffled as the building has never opened for tours.

Chases organiser - oh, sorry, we don't run those tours any more.

The one they sent an email just a few days earlier confirming.

FFS!

(upside, today is a good reminder of why I try to check out tours before telling people that they are available.)
