Do look upon these pretty daffies 🌼 that I sent my Mum for (UK) Mothering Sunday!

She placed these in this giant tea cup that once belonged to my great-grandmother, who dubbed the pretty pot a “gowsunder”.

…because it “goes under” your bed at night in the days when bathrooms were built outside 😂

@elizabethtasker I inherited my lovely oak bed from my Grandmother when she died. The gozunder and an assortment of blankets came with.

The blankets have been replaced with duvets and quilts but the gozunder is there no matter where I live. I suppose it would look nice with flowers or other tasteful repurposing, but it lives under my bed.
