Accelerating the transition to homegrown clean energy has become urgent.

Today, we presented a news set of initiatives to boost clean energy investment, strengthen Europe’s energy independence, and lower energy prices, including:

@EUCommission Yes, outstanding. Now please realize that nuclear is neither clean (toxic waste) nor independent (very problematic sources of uranium).

@axeln @EUCommission, the nuclear waste is really problematic 👍 But at least it is sealed in very well isolated barrels and put deep into ground, rather than into air for everyone (humans, animals, plants) to breath, like fossil carbon fuels does.
