QuazatronMy newish Xiaomi has an IR diode which is very useful to switch the AC on or off when I can’t be bothered to find the remote, and to mute TVs in restaurants.
It has a 3.5mm audio jack too.
They invented a really neat diode. It creates electricity when it emits ir. But of course that isn’t enough to get research funding which is why they make ridiculous hype.
