I have a friend that hates #UsbC. Apparently the cable is inferior to #Lightning wrt/ speed and stuff. IDK, never noticed an issue. But what I do agree with is that USB-C connectors have, in principle a really bad, fundamental design mistake: They protect $ cables from being damaged while leaving way more fragile piece on the $$$ device.

@lehtimaeki I partially do agree. Replaceable parts should be a thing. But not having something that is brittle by simple good design choice should be IMO the first step. Seriously looking at the connectors side by side and realising that USB-C had two years to learn from lightning and decided not to…
