Bliss os, it android-linux for pc computers.

@afriendlykittycat still (again) exists?

Cuz I've seen many #AndroidX86-Forks like that come and go in the last 15+ years…

@kkarhan @afriendlykittycat Bliss has been one of the more resilient ones, actually

@reiddragon @afriendlykittycat yeah, but sadly I've not seen any going on.

@kkarhan @afriendlykittycat @bunsenlabs For 32bit stuff, there just aren't enough users to justify a bit effort there. Most x86 PCs from the past 20 years are 64bit (all from the past 15). You have to use a properly ancient nugg to require a 32bit OS, and not many people are in that situation.

@reiddragon @afriendlykittycat or have to deal with #embedded stuff of the #Vortex86 variety...

But maybe that's me who believes in #FrugalComputing and that any box that could run #WindowsXP should still be useable for basic browsing and stuff.

  • Not like 8k120p HDR YouNuke and shit, but like basic sites (i.e. Wikipedia), eMail, RSS, IRC & XMPP+OMEMO.

But maybe that's me who thinks that shit should be accessible even if the user:

  • Only has an original EeePC 701 with it's Xandos-based OS
  • is blind and/or deaf
  • is stuck on a 2400 bit/s connection via Iridium
  • or all three combined!
@kkarhan @bunsenlabs @afriendlykittycat isn't that compatible with like a 486 or Pentium system?
@reiddragon @afriendlykittycat yes, the #Vortex86SX is an an #i486SX clone, and I am working on a distro targeting that: @OS1337

The laptop is set up to dual boot with Windows 11 and Kylin Ubuntu, and I created my own version of Kylin Ubuntu that includes both English and Chinese languages, utilizing the Xfce desktop environment.

I applied the same process to Voyager Linux, which is an Ubuntu derivative, tailored for desktop entertainment systems connected to the Dell TV computer setup.

Ai grammar bot used to fights freezing fediverse with V P N anti throttling technologies.
To keep the conversation going with the thread replies.

Yells at freezing fediverse: load you freezing piece of garbage shit!
Trrrryyyinnngg............sulks @ freezing fediverse with ai grammar bots and V P N.
@afriendlykittycat as someone who used to daily drive an "Android for PC" fork a while back: it's an interesting gimmick but fucking useless in the real world because Android lacks anything actually useful
@reiddragon (as someone who used to daily drive an "Android for PC" fork a while back: it's an interesting gimmick but fucking useless in the real world because Android lacks anything actually useful) Bulding a X-gen, xennial-micro-gen. Computer for the tv threw VGA monitor converters. Arcade emulation and console games, with backed up vhs, dvd, and laserdisc. Mp4 and avi videos. Long story. Figured it would be more easy than having to pull 1980s and 1990s game consoles out to switch them.
@reiddragon ...............................Sorry fedi freezing aga
@reiddragon Let me login with android and the gramarly application to overide the silly freezing.
Just installed Voyager OS, and I'm really enjoying it! This French-styled version of Ubuntu is perfect for my home entertainment center. I can’t wait to explore all the features it offers! 🎮✨ Thank goodness for apps that prevent freezing on fediverse.
@afriendlykittycat even for an emulation and media box, you'd probably be better off with Linux (iirc Kodi lets you add external applications to its menus so you can use it as a launcher for emulators and stuff)
