- Great mix of familiar and new. The new characters add interesting new mechanics, but if you've sunken a lot of ours into StS1, it's like riding a bike.

- It may in fact be too familiar for some, but give it time -- there's tons of new stuff to unlock. It rotates through lots of bosses, NPCs that give you boons at the start of each level, etc.

- It is _very_ early access. Placeholder images and even unwritten flavor text aplenty. Know what you sign up for.

- It feels very _responsive_ and _quick to play_. The UI is incredibly well-tuned.

Looking forward to updates!

One other neat thing: the game plays, it seems so far, perfectly on my 8-year-old T450S potato laptop (after switching from Vulkan to OpenGL).
@eloquence I am very impressed with the Godot engine quality, though I have experienced a single crash and some intermittent strangeness with the volume controls. The game itself feels very unbalanced, inconsistent and the number of options are a bit overwhelming - feels more like StS1 with tons of mods installed. Sometimes less is more.
