@spocko I don’t think those comments make any more sense with the context than before. The dude is just wrong about how technology intersects with social dynamics. It just doesn’t work the way he shows he is thinking it works. Nothing works that way.

@spocko Sure. And that’s bad. No question. But at least we can avoid succumbing to the mistaken belief that they can ever succeed. They’re just wrong. Stupid, bigoted and wrong, but they’re not going to succeed in doing the impossible.
