Trying out making spoons, using bandsaw, drawknife, spokeshave and a hook knife. Woods are (from left to right) cedar, bubinga, live oak.

@Thrakazog at a maker faire a long time ago there was a group demoing making spoons. The first step was with a hand axe. I asked about a spatula, and in a minute or two he had a prototype done and handed it to me to take home.

@trouble I did try making one with just a hatchet, knife and hook knife from some found wood first, but I'm not yet skilled enough with those tools :-)
