On the topic of non-US services:

Have you seen https://www.eurosky.tech, which is built on the AT protocol. Opinions? Experiences? Views?

Wouldn't it, today, still have a dependency to BlueSky? Or have I misunderstood how it (AT) works?

Apparently no one I know or am connected with is talking about it, as my search here in the Fediverse couldn't find a single post about it.

@mathias Eurosky is a tech provider that currently offers account hosting for ATProto accounts. So you can have a Eurosky account and then use apps like Bluesky, Flashes, Tangled, etc.
So the Eurosky PDS doesn't rely on Bluesky (the app). Bluesky runs a relay and an app view for their app. And they ingest content from the Eurosky PDS. So in a sense they depend on Eurosky :)
