@paul @siracusa Now's your chance!
@marcoarment @paul 🙅‍♂️
@siracusa @marcoarment @paul I can’t see this and not see Apple clearing inventory before they announce something final about the Mac Pro.

@pl @siracusa @paul Yeah, I'd be VERY surprised if the Mac Pro was still for sale after the next Mac Studio update.

I'm guessing the Mac Pro gets the same treatment the Pro Display XDR just got: an announcement of a new, faster Mac Studio with M5-family chips, and at the same time, the Mac Pro being officially discontinued in a footnote or a single sentence to a reporter.

@marcoarment @pl @siracusa some would say it was discontinued in 2023…
@paul @marcoarment @pl @siracusa It does look like they’re clearing inventory. I’m about 90% sure that the Mac Pro is dead, but I want to believe! Maybe WWDC will bring a new Mac Pro with an M5 Ultra that’s too big to put in the Mac Studio, and an updated 32” 6K Pro Display. If that doesn’t happen though, then I’ll be 100% convinced that it’s dead for good.

@joshuatree Apple already said the Studio Display XDR replaces the Pro Display XDR.
