One of the classical ways to look for undiscovered particles at the LHC is to look for unexpected resonances in the jets coming from quarks and gluons. This #CMSPaper compares the cutting edge of #machinelearnining #ai methods to see how well they do for top quark resonances arxiv.org/abs/2512.20395
@freyablekman None of the links in your scheduled posts are clickable 😞
@JensJot bummer, I will take a look. It might be a fediverse thing sadly
@JensJot more news: I just checked it is indeed a buffer vs mastodon feature, the queued post had https:// .... included, it was cut off between queuing and appearing here 😭
@freyablekman Shocking!! How and why? If I use a tool to schedule a post, I don’t want it to be changed… 🤨
@JensJot no idea ... it's not changed on any of the other platforms it posts....

@JensJot and here is one of today's posts on bsky... no broken links https://bsky.app/profile/freyablekman.bsky.social/post/3mgv7vf72an2u

but I will keep an eye out for fediverse posts, there have been a lot of problems it seems with links the last week, some links to youtube were also 'eaten' recently

Are there #Darkmatter particles produced together with #Higgsbosons? This #CMSPaper looks for that signature in the LHC data collected in 2017 and 2018. It is a #NullResult arxiv.org/abs/2601.11330
