I totally understand where anti AI purists are coming from but it’s getting silly how every post that has any connection to LLMs get this, no matter what they achieved.
It’s like if vegans were to post negative comments on recipes or anything remotely connected to dairy or written by meat eaters even. I’m sure there are some who do, but IMO that’s pretty obnoxious.
It’s not just any connection.
They’re relying on an llm for all the functional components of the analysis. This looks like a Claude code job where they sent the agent at the task and the agent cooks for a while to create something which would be convincing to people who don’t actually know better.
Look I develop a lot of analyses. Llm as a coding assistant when you know what both right and wrong code looks like, they can be useful, if they don’t to overcook everything. They’ll help you build functions to build parts of things. But if you are relying on them to do the thinking, you are utterly fucked and there is no there there.
This kind of post would be much more useful than the ai slop one.
Saying that people should be careful around this data because there’s a risk the author doesn’t doesn’t know what they’re doing would be a helpful comment.
I’m a vegan myself so was just trying put myself in the ai haters shoes. I really think enslaving animals is horrible but when I talk about it I try to do it in a way that can make a difference rather than make meat eaters hostile/annoyed/guilty etc.
