Meanwhile Im barely making rent, yet and while IM not an economist, I know enough that if you dump a shitton of a thing on a market the value of said thing collapses, Like _what the fuck_ guys.

@stux @web3isgreat I know. I mined BTC back in the early days when it was pennies... until I got my first power bill; then I said "this is fucking stupid". (sadly no, I don't have that wallet - sigh. I had a few dozen BTC).
I did make a few grand when DOGE spiked a few years back (I mined that and sent a chunk to fund that NASCAR driver, build a school - it was fun, what DOGE was supposed to be) and I helped someone recover a wallet.. but that was speculation and luck more than anything.
Carnildo@tezoatlipoca @stux @web3isgreat A lot of the money being lost doesn't really exist in the first place. When you've got large holdings in a high-price, thinly-traded asset, yes, when you multiply the numbers, you look rich. But if you attempt to actually cash out, you'll get far less money.
