@distinctdipole I think the beauty of the Linux ecosystem is that you can Always look for greener pastures somewhere else. By design slopification can't get a definitive hold on it.
Is it going to make it a pain in the butt for a while? Yeah, maybe. But it will definitely not become a core part of it.

@EnaWasHere That's the problem. I don't want the pain. I want my computer to be used by me in my way. I gave up software engineering two decades ago. Don't make write my own OS: it will not be pretty!

@distinctdipole I should probably add that the most damage AI Slop and enshitification has done is on the privative sector. You only need one out of touch CEO to set the whole product line on fire with that garbage.
