One day, I will tell you the story of having to chase Sons of Kemet down the Southern California coastline to get Shabaka his beloved mic and pedal back, and how he repaid me with a dinner, drinks, long walks to solana beach, a beautiful sketch of his “guardian angel” (me!) and some amazing ShabakaWeed.
It was a most glorious victory for all involved.
