37 pre-teen and teenaged children rescued from a human trafficking ring in Hemet, California. 50 identified; 13 still missing.
This follows a larger sting that occurred a few months back involving forced sex work/trafficking ring. No one seems to be talking about this. How serious and how often it occurs. Especially in the light of recent island activities. So here is the presser.
Please. If you have kids. Talk to them. About everything.

@ErickaSimone Did you read the article? No "ring" was mentioned. It's still GREAT that so many kids were rescued, but odd that this is a news story and not the norm.
But i agree that parents must be there for their kids to talk about everything. And to heal fractured relationships with their children which might drive them to run.
I had a sibling who ran away, didn't see her for 2 years. Our mom was not guilt free. Sis survived but still struggles with the emotional wounds 30 years later.
