My company said it was having issues w/Adobe (💰?) and reduced their licenses. Which is annoying because now there are few people to do those jobs. Someone is permanently putting them in my schedule. Money is money but there won't be room for regulars, and these Adobe ones are so annoying! I have to stay there the whole time, even if no one shows up.
We'll see.
I just hope they'll take them out if a good customer wants the time. 🙄

@lisasky Oh, wow, that’s wild. Wife had a couple jobs in the recent past that paid in ways other than direct deposit and I didn’t trust it.

I should cool it on the shopping but every time I leave something at the store I regret it! If I needed it that means a special trip, and maybe it's sold out.
Things have gotten weird, because so much came from the US, such as parboiled rice, and the aloe vera I used to get. Feel like I need to grab what I can.

Can definitely relate with the shopping problem. Supplies are definitely wonky even down here in the states. Especially the past few days because of the winter storm.

@lisasky Internet is usually good. This storm made things spotty though. Just for a few hours over a couple days.
I did watch Mr. Robot. Started getting bored in the last couple seasons so skipped a lot of stuff to get to the punchline, lol.

That's interesting though, because the techie guys my brother watches are always talking about how unreliable the Internet is in the States. I wonder if it's localized?

@lisasky Yeah, internet is very hit or miss depending on location and ISP. FiOS has been pretty good to me in the eight years I’ve been with them, though.
And yeah the lighting in the show is definitely… sterile. Part of the ambience I guess, lol.
Your triops are neat! Definitely something to be said about ancient life. And hopefully you don’t have a population boom—can’t speak for you, but boy howdy it’d stress me out worrying about keeping them all alive and healthy.

Oh, sorry, those pics of the triops are from the ad. I haven't ordered them yet but I might. The brine shrimp and guppies are a bit much! As a kid they were so hardy! Now guppies seem crazy fragile. 😣 Already a couple have died. It's not unusual for them but that's frustrating too.
@terrance_shaw I've been working away the past few days, doing water changes etc. As a test I added 5 fish to the tank this afternoon. So we'll see what happens but I'm hopeful! I'm sorry about the lost fish but didn't see that coming at all!
Did I tell you I ordered a backup aquarium heater, among other stuff) and the heater and cat litter shipped together in a box, the heater just in it's regular package? Plus the cat litter bag had a slit and was leaking - it even got in the heater box!
@terrance_shaw sorry for the late reply - after the aquarium debacle my brother got sick, then the cat! Heater was toast, fortunately I had another, but the stench from the broken one was something else! 🦨😩
Replaced water and filter and rinsed rocks with vinegar, and just today put some of my hydroponics guppies in it.
On a brighter note, my hibiscus and datura are growing and I have beans! Not many, but my brother ate one whole bean today! 😂

We’re mostly good. My past habits catching up to me and now I gotta do stuff I didn’t ever wanna do job-wise, but I’m reframing it as being my penance for being irresponsible financially.

Sorry about the pesky past but I hope you find a good solution that isn't too draining! I feel like I should be doing something differently with my finances too but uggggh!
