The current so-called "AI" is going to generate such a backlash when the bubble bursts, that the third "AI winter" will make the previous two look totally insignificant.
This will set back research that actually has the potential to achieve worthwhile goals by a quarter century or more.

I was just moved to write an e-mail which was simply "I do not work with GenAI users". The reality is actually much less exclusive than that but I think this'll do for now.
