So far, heee’s what’s done.
✔︎ up, clean, dressed
✔︎ out of the house and in SkyTrain headed downtown
✔︎ this toot
Further things done did.
✔︎ blood drawn for various testing like cholesterol
✔︎ EKG performed for heart things
✔︎ kit for stool sample received for colorectal cancer screening
✔︎ headed to stuff face with brunch due to fasting overnight
✔︎ walked from Davie & Burrard to Chinatown
✔︎ am now at Catfé Vancouver for feline therapy
Cheaper than psychologists and just as effective.
More things done:
✔︎ finished visit to #CatfeVancouver
✔︎ declined invitation to hang out longer, due to them not being busy, owing to cats being mostly standoff-ish
✔︎ walked the rest of the way home
✔︎ received new Driver’s Licence in the mail
Now it is time for a nap.
More things accomplished.

✔︎ also got some flowers for myself
✔︎ learned from Martha Stewart how best to cut lilies for longest life and best display practices¹

My Winter House is filled with gorgeous, bright, and fragrant lilies. If you follow my blog regularly, you may have seen yesterday's post on my beautiful white lily garden just outside my main greenhouse. @giflian Hmm. True. But these are trying to get adopted. Being too aloof and non-affectionate gets them no fur-ever home!
Not that logic has any place in a cat brain either…
@IanAMartin one time I was there and a cat sat on my lap and everyone around me was so jealous. It was awesome.

@giflian Yeah, I suppose that cats gotta cat. Anything else is un-natural.
@giflian The closest I’ve ever been was that time up above today where someone curled up against my calf while I scratched their head (no further than the shoulders, anything around the ribs was a NO GO ZONE!!). I had a few people envious of that.
I may return in a couple of weeks to see if I can be more successful / win the cat lottery.
@IanAMartin who knows, that might've been a love declaration from that cat.
@giflian Possibly. Grumpy Cat is not going to be Super Loud Purring And Rubbing Around You Cat, and this was a grumpier cat.
