Chris@VeroniqueB99 where I live, recycling goes out every other week. I have a neighbor who just hopefully puts both bins out every week and it always throws me off.

Im thinking of integrating cameras and macros now to keep these bored ppl something to be paranoid about. No trash shall ever, EVER, BE taken out early or improperly sorted on the street or the whole world shall know. Hoa, trash guys. But then i remember im not an asshole.

Goodlucksil@VeroniqueB99 These people are very nice *Americans*. In ~~Europe~~ Spain (at least) we take out the trash whenever possible and put it in bins distributed along the city. And the garbage truck grabs all bins in one swipe.
Edit: Europe is not homogeneous.
Jacob Christian Munch-Andersen@Goodlucksil Right, that is how things work in the homogenous country of Europe. It is certainly not a hodgepodge of different regulations and systems that sometimes vary from one building to the next.

My county has an app that notifies me at a particular time about tomorrow's collection.
But what's even cooler are neighbors that check on each other's trash cans and move them out of they have forgotten.
