The whole situation with the IPv6 series makes me quite sad. Some people is throwing insults around Phoronix and other forums againts the change.. other people is throwing insults at them because they agree with the change.

Is it that hard to discuss things in a civilized way? The world feels like a hate ball rolling over everything :(

@ffmancera people who don’t or can’t write kernel code are the loudest. Just talk to other plumbers (they might also complain but at least they have experience)

@shlee @ffmancera This, exactly. Many people seem to feel that what they lack in skills can be compensated for with decibels. Professionals don't take advice from amateurs.

Also, Phoronix is literally a shitposting forum. Many, many trolls. Absolutely not a serious place to gather any sentiment.
