Remember when Trump admitted white South Afrikaaners as refugees claiming they were suffering "white genocide?"
South African Home Affairs Minister Leon Schreiber reports that 1000 have returned back to South Africa because America is "too dangerous, too expensive, and too low quality of life."

They would rather live in South Africa and suffer "white genocide" than live in Trump's America. (NOTE: There's no such thing as white genocide, never was, & Trump made it up because he's a fascist).

@j7ca @QasimRashid I lived there 20 years ago and my stepson and grandson were there last summer. Neither of us saw, heard of or experienced any white genocide. In fact we were welcomed everywhere we went.

According to this article 👆🏾, 3500 Afrikaners came to the US under the program BUT the 1,000 number of South Africans who are going back (so far) includes people who've been here dating back much longer, even decades. So it's hard to say whether this tranche are the leavers.

That said, white unemployment in South Africa is 8%, whereas black unemployment there is 35%. So some folks might be looking to go back and be the uncontested Top Dogs again. Sighhhh
