Delric@daringfireball re: Neo vs iPads - just a different use case. 90% of the time my iPad is in my hand being used vertically, like a magazine. Not as a laptop with my hands on the home row. I’d never want to use a laptop in bed, on the sofa, on the can, etc. Totally different computing use.
John Gruber@delric Absolutely, and I didn't mean to imply, for even a moment, that there aren't use cases where the iPad clearly wins. I'm just coming to the realization that they're not mine. I've had it stuck in my head for a long time that it's somehow silly to have a MacBook as my main computer and another MacBook as a secondary one. But that's what I want, really.
